The brass is heavy and the horn therefore produces a rather dark tone-color, most favored by strong players. Reynolds instruments showed high-quality workmanship, but should not be confused with instruments of the same time from Holton or Conn. Never any major dents, minor dings have been recently burnished out by our shop in Wichita. Our FE-03 was last sold by our shop in 2006, has actually been played very little since it was new.
